With many years of learning K-pop choreographies, and passing a global audition for a lead Korean Entertainment Company in the K-pop industry, our instructor is passionate about finally bringing the joy of K-pop dance to Rochester, NY.
Our Classes
Our classes are designed to be a fun, challenging experience in a positive environment. Whether you are an avid K-pop fan, or have never heard of K-pop, all are welcome. Known for its energetic and precise movements, K-pop dance combines elements of various dance styles, including hip-hop, jazz, contemporary, and sometimes traditional Korean dance. Its alluring visuals and virality has made it a key component of the K-pop entertainment industry. K-pop dance has become a global phenomenon, inspiring fans around the world to learn and recreate the iconic choreographies of their favorite K-pop songs.
Yes. Currently, we require our students to be at least 18 years old. However, some classes will specifically say, "Kid's Class", meaning that younger ages can participate. You may also request a Private Class.
Our pricing varies depending on the choreography and the length of the class. See our "Register For a Class" section for more details.
Having a background in dance will certainly benefit you, and may help you pick up on the dance quicker. However, no experience is required and we encourage beginners to try out our classes! We usually label choreographies with: Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced, to help you pick a class you are comfortable with. Feel free to step out of your comfort zone!
We recommend comfortable clothing and sneakers. We require that you bring a separate pair of sneakers to wear during the class, so that we can keep our floors clean and free of dirt, mud, and liquid.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask that you email us at koraacademyroc@gmail.com to cancel your appointment. We have a 24-hour cancellation policy, so you will not be refunded if you cancel within 24-hours of your scheduled appointment. Please utilize our Website to schedule a new appointment.
